Repetition leads to familiarity, familiarity leads to more sales. There are three big keys to success when it comes to advertising. The first is having a great message. A great message is one that resonates with the consumer, makes a lasting impression and give clear direction on what to do next to do business with you
The second is matching that message to talk directly to the right candidates for your good or services. And the last piece of success is delivering that message with enough frequency to be important. Following this simple formula leads to success in with your advertising.
Often times this formula is unbalanced. Sometimes we get overly creative in the message and we forget to sell something. Other times, we end up putting the message in the wrong place. Just because we like a certain product, show or station we buy that instead of buy what our customers are using. And still other times, we have an effective message, we place it where the right audience is, but we forget to invest enough in frequency to make it effective.
You may have heard the old adage about fast food restaurants. There is good, fast and cheap and you will only get two on any given day, no matter what the combination is. But, repetition or frequency of message is so important to the equation that is should never be overlooked. Invest enough to have frequency of your message. In fact, invest enough to be important.
Not sure how to do this or how to take the first step? We can help. Call Connie Hayes to schedule an appointment 806-748-2404 or call me directly at 806-748-2405. We will be happy to show how to take a position on the South Plains and own it, using radio to deliver the message with frequency.
