It seems like we were just looking at the end of 2013. It usually at this time of year when I start looking around for things I am not using and either look at ways to use them more effectively or stop using them all together. We all start projects with the best of intentions, wanting to make them useful and profitable in our businesses. Somewhere along the line we get derailed and it just becomes another thing that collects dust in our offices or showrooms.
The other thing I will do is assess what worked and what did not work in 2014. We will look the things we did well and look to repeat them with some enhancements. We will look at the things that did not works so well and see if we can make slight or significant changes that would make them work in 2015.
The last thing is to solidify all the tentative plans we have for 2015. These might be good suggestions for your business as well. Take a serious look at your marketing plans for the year. Sit down with one of our marketing consultants and make solid, executable plans for 2015. Work on adjusting those ideas that didn’t work in 2014 and look at enhancing those that did.
